About Tyrell
Hello, my name is Tyrell and my favourite subject is maths. When I started GCSE content I started to not enjoy maths. I had a terrible teacher and my grades began to fall. I started to teach myself and the feeling after getting an answer right is extremely rewarding. I know that I’m able to help students progress quickly and I also know how to keep them concentrated in the lesson because as a kid I used to be very bored.

I would teach the student effectively. I would ask the student if he needs help with any subject in particular and help him with that subject. If he isn’t sure what he struggles on specifically then I would do a walkthrough past paper with him and help him where he needs help. The typical length of a lesson would most likely be an hour; however, I would not mind helping overtime if he is stuck on something. I teach my brother who is in year 9 maths. These lessons are for secondary students who are starting GCSE’s.
