About Lindsay
I have been painting and drawing for over 40 years. I have been teaching over that period and love the opportunity to impart my knowledge. I love seeing students develop their skills and seeing the thrill they get when completing a work they are proud of. I like my classes to be relaxed and fun and for students to enjoy the process of learning and creating art.

Art is a skill that you learn. Your "natural ability" is your desire to learn. My tutoring style is to give students the ability to create art with knowledge and understanding. I want my students to look at their subject and not just copy but create art. To do this, I teach all basic principles from drawing skills, to color theory, composition, brush work, etc. I teach portraiture, still life, and landscapes, in watercolor, acrylic, and oils. I lean toward impressionist style to allow a creative approach. I have been painting for over 40 years and love to teach what I have learned.

Perfect! My friend and myself really enjoyed Lindsay‘s lessons in watercolour painting. He is a good communicator and got his ideas across easily.
