About Charlie

I am a DPhil student at the University of Oxford, studying Astrophysics. I have a first class master's from the University of Oxford as well as first class honours with University Medal from the University of Sydney. The courses I received a mark of 85+ in include Astroparticle Physics, Standard Model Physics, QFT, General Relativity, Lagrangian and Hamiltonian Dynamics, Complex Analysis, PDEs and Applications, and Groups and Representation Theory. I have been tutoring for 4 years with over 500 hrs of teaching experience. This includes teaching mathematics courses at the University of Sydney. I have taught students aged 10-25 covering almost all possible levels of education. My teaching approach is flexible and I aim to uniquely adapt my techniques and learning styles to match each student.

About the lesson

As a dedicated tutor, my approach revolves around the fundamental skill of breaking down complex subjects into manageable, bite-size chunks. I firmly believe that this method lays the groundwork for a robust foundation, allowing students to construct a thorough and stable understanding of the material. By focusing on these digestible components, I aim to make the learning process not only accessible as well as enjoyable. I primarily tutor online with typical lessons being 1 or 2 hours, once or twice a week, however I am very flexible.
