About Emily
Hi there, my name is Emily and I recently graduated from Oxford University, studying English Language and Literature. I'm really passionate about my subject and am keen to pass on my enthusiasm to others. I also understand the barriers to enjoyment when studying English at a classroom level, so will endeavour to make my lessons engaging and, above all, tailored to my student.

I have experience tutoring in a classroom setting, having taught classics to a group of year five students while studying. I have also taken on private clients, often with a focus on applications to schools or universities.
I received a Queen's scholarship to Westminster School and was also offered a sixth form scholarship to Cheltenham Ladies' College, with places at St Pauls' Girls School and City of London School for Girls. I am therefore very happy to help with entrance applications to independent schools, including scholarships.
I also teach a range of texts (please get in touch for more details) to A Level and GCSE level.
