About Andrew
I have a BA in Archaeology from Durham and am studying for an MSc at Oxford. I run a history podcast called Old Bones.
In between my BA and MSc I worked in Sales and Marketing for a tech start up in London.

My aim is to identify where each student feels limited - whether that is knowledge, context or skills - and then work actively with the student to develop their understanding in one area at a time.
For this reason I only offer individual classes.
My philosophy is that history is a skills-based subject, not a knowledge based subject so all of my teaching and support is based on the student receiving feedback on tasks used by real academics to help them develop the skills they need to succeed without a tutor.
