About Anna

Physics graduate from the University of Oxford. 6 years experience in tutoring Mathematics and Physics for students taking GCSEs, A-Levels, or applying to UK universities including Oxbridge. Wide experience in science communication: Outreach Ambassador at Oxford, demonstrator at scientific research placement summer schools, tour guide at two local science museums.

About the lesson

I focus on clearing up concepts that challenge/interest the student, then ask the student to talk me through targeted exam questions so I can give tailored advice on their exam technique/problem solving. Flexible availability 7 days a week. Lessons online. I send invoices for tax/record-keeping purposes, please provide the appropriate name and contact details for me to address these to. Verification of DBS Certificate available upon request.

Perfect! My son has been preparing to apply to Oxford and Anna has been an excellent and competent teacher. She has taught him some of the topics in PAT that hadn't been covered at school and worked together on many past paper questions over many weeks. That is no minor undertaking. She has imparted many practical tips on tackling questions, thereby boosting my son's confidence significantly. Anna is an experienced tutor and I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for help with their studies at any level.
