About Charlotte
I have just finished my integrated Masters in Chemistry at the University of Oxford. My research this year is looking at how we can make chemistry more accessible to a range of students, within which I have been looking at how neurodivergent and disabled students may have a different experience of learning chemistry. Outside of chemistry I enjoy drama, art and volunteering work with young people. I enjoy connecting science to its broader cultural context especially in relation to the arts.

I have experience tutoring and have specialised in chemical education for my Masters this year. Consequently, I promote the importance of growth mindset teaching and patience with students, to be balanced with appropriate challenge. I aim to inspire students, by making our lessons relevant to the world around them, inspiring scientific curiosity and problem solving alongside specific subject knowledge.
