About Aamina
I'm Aamina, a Maths and Computer Science student at St. John's College, Oxford. I achieved a 1st in my 1st year exams, and I'm also the course rep for Maths and CS for the whole university. I've been tutoring for the last 3 years, both privately and at a Kumon centre, which means I am well equipped to adapt my teaching style based upon your individual needs. I really enjoy the subjects I teach, and I hope to pass this enthusiasm onto you!

My lessons are based on really understanding the theory behind the topic rather than only focusing on particular questions, as once the underlying principles are clear, even the trickiest questions will become much more doable. Lessons are generally 1 hour long, as I find multiple shorter lessons are better than one long one for focus.
I offer Maths and Physics tutoring based on the National Curriculum for students in Year 7 all the way to A level. I also offer Oxbridge admissions preparation sessions for quantitative subjects, including personal statement advice, entrance exam tutoring (MAT, PAT, STEP, TSA & TMUA) and mock interviews.
