About Dominic
I am an Oxford Maths graduate with a background in Pure Mathematics. I enjoy teaching because I am passionate about the joy and beauty of maths. Moreover, I want to help people excel in education and I find this very rewarding to see in my students. In my free time, I am an avid chess player. I represented England in junior chess and placed 38th= in the 2018 British Chess Championships. I also tutor chess.

I emphasise using examples in my teaching to help students build intuition about the topics that they are studying. Moreover, I understand that not all students will think about or understand a mathematical idea in the same way, so I will explain mathematical ideas from a variety of different perspectives, so that my students can be introduced to them in the way that works best for them.
