About Neha
I am an Oxford Mathematics graduate and will be starting a PhD at Imperial College London. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience and have worked with organisations such as the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT), supporting students in developing strong problem-solving skills.
My motivation for teaching comes from a genuine love of problem solving. Mathematics, at its core, is about logical thinking, creativity, and approaching unfamiliar problems with confidence. I aim to help students move beyond memorising methods, developing a deeper understanding that allows them to tackle challenging questions independently.
I take a professional and structured approach to tutoring, ensuring each lesson is carefully planned, focused, and tailored to the student’s goals. I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students can build both their skills and confidence.

My tutoring approach is focused on building deep understanding alongside strong exam technique. I break down complex mathematical ideas into clear, intuitive steps, ensuring students not only know how to solve problems but also understand why methods work. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, with a mix of guided examples, active problem-solving, and exam-style practice.
Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes, and are conducted online in an interactive format.
I work primarily with GCSE and A-level students, particularly those aiming for A/A* results or preparing for university applications. I also provide expert guidance on personal statements and conduct mock interviews for Oxbridge and other competitive courses.
With over 5 years of experience and work with organisations such as UKMT, I specialise in guiding students towards top grades and competitive academic pathways.
