About Alex
Hi, my name is Alex and I'm looking to tutor students for sciences and mathematics. I attended University College at Oxford University, where I achieved a 2:1 Masters in Physcs (MPhys). Previously I attended St Paul's School in Barnes, where I was a John Colet Scholar. Since graduating I've lived in China for one year, teaching and tutoring for both English language, and sciences.
My main areas of expertise are Physics and Maths, and my teaching experience includes both tutoring individual students in a classroom environment as part of Oxford University's Schools Plus program, and teaching classrooms and helping individual students as part of St Paul's Materials Science Outreach Program. I've also provided tuition for students, both in person and over the internet.
As an Oxford University student, I can also help students with their application for a Physics degree, from practicing the PAT and teaching the extra material, to providing example interview questions, and recreating the style of an Oxford tutorial.
