About Izzy
I am a recent graduate in French and Italian from the University of Oxford, currently working as a Teaching Assistant. I love languages and literature and I am passionate about finding ways to make learning fun and easy, and helping other people develop their own passion for languages. I am familiar with the challenges of language-learning and I have an empathetic, creative, and focused approach to teaching.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the student, and I relate content to the real world whilst thoroughly preparing students for exams and incorporating effective testing. I have real classroom experience from my role as a teaching assistant, which I incorporate into my lessons. Lessons are typically one hour, and I can cater to students of all abilities - GCSE and A Level, younger students, and those looking to learn a language. In my French and Italian lessons, I focus on giving the student a strong basis in grammar, working on weak spots before moving on to more complicated topics. We will also work on speaking, writing, translation, and listening skills. I am passionate about languages and want students to find them fun, whilst also getting the best possible results. In English and Latin lessons, I focus on vocabulary, grammar, and literary analysis skills.
