About Yasmin

Hi, I'm Yasmin, an experienced educator from Oxford, England with a Masters in Education. I’ve been teaching for seven years, and I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every classroom I enter. As well as my Masters, I hold both TEFL and IELTS teaching certifications, ensuring that I'm equipped to support students in their English language journey. My educational background began with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, where I refined my communication skills and developed an appreciation for the power of language. Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master's degree in Education, specialising in language and literacy, which helped solidify my commitment to shaping minds and fostering academic growth. Throughout my career, I've taught English, Mathematics, and Science, adapting my teaching style to suit diverse learning environments. I’ve worked in a traditional brick and mortar classroom, a Montessori classroom and for the last 5 years I have taught private online classes. I prioritise student engagement and holistic development of language skills. With access to over 100 language curriculums, I ensure that my lessons are not only educational but also interactive, engaging, and above all, fun. I ensure the lessons are tailored to meet your requirements. In my classroom, I encourage students to explore, question, and discover the world around them. Through my innovative approach and enthusiasm for teaching, I aim to instil in my students a lifelong love for learning, empowering them to reach new heights of academic success.

I’ve got proven success with helping students pass their SAT English exams, 11+ academic tests and IELTS exams for international universities.

She has special compassion and insight, and can communicate candidly and friendly with children. She always makes an effective plan before learning begins, and at the end of each small stage, she summarizes the previous period of study. She is not completely stuck on teaching materials, but is willing to teach students new knowledge points at any time. My child has been making progress under her leadership.
In the latest exam, my child set a personal best, but this is not the most important thing - he didn't like English at the beginning,and Now he is willing to take classes and share the new English knowledge he has learned with me. Yasmin is a truly excellent teacher. It is a very practical and happy thing for me that my son learn English from her. I would recommend Yasmin to anyone.
