About Alec
I am a recent university graduate which means that I remember very clearly the stress that comes with exams and the best tactics to use to get around that stress. I want to share the best science-backed revision technieques and study skills with you so that you can do your best in your exams.
Over the course of my degree, I tried to ensure that I was working effectively and avoiding burnout and overly long hours when I could. I want to help you do the same so that you can overcome whatever difficulties you are facing academically in the most balanced way possible

Lessons with me will typically be 1 hour long and will be focused around your needs. After an introductory meeting to discuss what you would like help with, lessons will include:
-Help preparing clear and understandable revision notes for you to refer back to
-Practice of exam-style and past paper questions to encourage and facilitate your ability to work out the answers on your own
-Advice on the tools and revision methods that I used to get into Oxford and gain a Classics degree
I can also offer advice for Oxbridge classics candidates on reading and preparation for the entrance exam and interviews. I am happy to run mock interviews with you and provide feedback after to boost your confidence.
