About Daniel
I currently divide my time between teaching part time, working on commissioned Artwork and on my own body of personal work which I exhibit.
I hold a diploma in Art & Design with distinction as well as a 2.1 BA (HONS) degree in Illustration. Additionally I worked for 7 years for one of the worlds leading contemporary artists where I gained a wealth of professional experience working to very high standards of Art production. In 2011 one of my portrait paintings was pre-selected for the BP Portrait Award in London.
I’m friendly, personable and articulate. I'm happy to work one to one with students or with groups.

I’ve spent the last 7 years working for one of the world’s leading contemporary artists and now work for myself in Oxford. I’m highly skilled in drawing and oil painting and specialise in portraiture. I exhibit in London and Oxford as well as teaching two days a week privately in Oxford. I’m really friendly and happy working one to one and with small groups. I like to give students the space and freedom to have confidence in their own practice whilst helping them however much they like with the technical aspects of painting and drawing. I look forward to hearing from you!
