About Vivian
I bring 4 years of classroom experience along with a Master of Education to every lesson. One student I remember struggled with essay structure until we broke it into simple parts and practiced each one. A young learner who disliked reading slowly became excited about books once we found stories he enjoyed.
A student preparing for TOEFL gained real confidence once we focused on timed speaking practice. I enjoy watching students go from hesitant to confident with steady practice. I believe learning English should feel practical and connected to real life.
I focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. Each student is different, so I adapt my methods to fit their pace. My lessons are structured but flexible, adjusting to how each student learns best.
My goal is always to make English feel approachable rather than intimidating. Patience and encouragement are central to how I teach every student. I use a mix of practice, feedback and real examples in every lesson.
I would be happy to help you reach your learning goals, so feel free to reach out.

For exam preparation such as IELTS or TOEFL, we focus on timed practice tests. Writing practice includes both academic essays and creative short pieces. Listening exercises use podcasts and short clips to build comprehension.
I encourage students to keep a journal to build writing fluency naturally. Pronunciation drills are kept light and fun, using tongue twisters and recordings. I also work on presentation skills so students feel confident speaking in public.
For example, when teaching tenses I use short stories so students see the rules in action. Vocabulary building happens through games and daily word challenges rather than dull memorization. We work on reading comprehension using articles that match each student's interest.
Business English sessions include email writing and mock interview practice. Speaking practice often involves mock conversations based on real life situations. I like to start with grammar basics before moving into real conversation practice.
