About Kristine

Hello! My name is Kristine, and I am currently studying under the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) program with a strong academic record, especially in mathematics and physics. I’m passionate about helping students understand these subjects in a way that feels simple, clear, and even enjoyable. Though I’m still a student myself, I have experience assisting peers and younger students, and I understand how stressful schoolwork and exams can feel. That’s why I focus on building confidence, not just giving answers. I teach in both English and Burmese, depending on the student’s needs, and I always adapt to their learning pace. I offer one-on-one tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students (Grades 1–11), including those studying Cambridge, Pearson, Math Olympics, or OSSD curriculums. My lessons are typically 60 minutes, combining clear explanations with practice questions, exam techniques, and real-life examples. About the lesson

As an OSSD student with a strong academic record in math and science, my teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and making learning feel less stressful. I explain concepts step by step in both Burmese and English, depending on what the student is most comfortable with. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to their pace, whether that means slowing down for tricky topics or providing extra practice for exam prep. My lessons typically last 60 minutes, and I balance explanations with practice questions, real-life examples, and active problem-solving. I’ve helped classmates and younger students improve their understanding and confidence, and I enjoy creating a safe, judgment-free space to ask questions and make mistakes. I tutor elementary to high school students (Grades 1–11) following the Myanmar, Cambridge, Pearson, Maths Olympics and OSSD curriculum. Whether your child needs support with basic math skills, algebra, geometry, or physics, I’m here to help them build strong foundations and feel more confident in school.
