About Julien
I have studied organic chemistry for 10 years with a Masters and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge. For an additional 10 years, I also worked as an organic chemistry researcher for major pharmaceutical companies designing and making new drug molecules in their laboratories.
I have many years of tutoring students in organic chemistry through my PhD or my industry career.

Where do we start in front of an organic chemistry problem?
The best way to ace organic chemistry is not by learning it all by heart, but rather understanding the reason why chemical reactions happen. Succeeding is all about applying "chemical logic" and a "method", which you can both master with a bit of practice!
Before the course starts, I will ask to see the content of your lectures in order for me to best tailor our lessons. I also will assess your strengths and areas that need improvement.
At each lesson, we will review the basics and/or the concepts before applying them to practice, together as a team, with exercises tailored to your needs.
