About Avani
I enjoy drawing and reading, and the occasional badminton or volleyball game! I love to teach children, and have the desire to help guide students in flourishing. I feel proud seeing children I have taught accomplish and achieve in areas they were not confident in before. Celebrating every win is important! I have many years of teaching children in different areas, including being a maths tutor and teaching art to children in Art K.

I teach 1-2 hour lessons for STEM subjects including Maths, Chemistry and Biology for GCSE and A-Level students. I like to help break down complex problems into more easily understandable steps. I am patient and can communicate clearly with students, especially when helping them with tricky exam techniques or questions. I like to ensure previous knowledge is well understood with active recall or mini tests, to help improve exam technique and confidence in knowledge. I achieved an A* in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A Level (2025).
