About Georgia
If you are looking for someone who is both fun and professional then you have found the right tutor! I am always striving to be relatable to my students and make learning a good experience. I am consistently energetic and enthusiastic in my teaching, and strive for empathy and understanding. Having experience in online tutoring, I am very tech savvy and know the best ways to convey my lessons. As I was also previously a classroom teacher, I am organized and have lots of great resources at my fingertips. I believe learning should be uplifting, not discouraging and I will do everything in my power to make it that for you!

I am an enthusiastic young teacher who believes that learning should be fun. I believe that it is essential to have a thorough understanding of the subject matter, the capacity to explain it in simple easy to use terms, the patience to guide students, and the flexibility to alter plans to fit every students diverse needs.
A typical lesson with me varies from student to student based on their interests, attention span, and learning style. I consistently strive for a more hands on approach to learning using real world examples that students can relate to and understand.
I am committed to continuous learning and improvement. Being proactive in meeting the needs of students and using a variety of teaching methods to connect with each student is also a crucial factor in my methodology.
I have typically worked with student in grades 5-12, but also have experience in university level humanities courses such as English and sociology. I have experience teaching math and science to students in grade 6-10, and experience teaching higher level English specializing in reading and writing.
