About ALPHY
As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher at Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB), I am responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the academic and social development of the students. With a Bachelor of Education degree from Mahatma Gandhi University and a Master of Science degree in Plant Biology from Madras Christian College, I have a strong background in natural sciences and a keen interest in plant biotechnology. I have also worked as an Early Childhood Educator at Fairy Glen Day Care Centre and an Assistant Professor at KE College, where I gained valuable experience in early childhood education and higher education. My core competencies are communication, creativity, and collaboration. My mission is to become an adept researcher and an innovative teacher. With years of experience as a dedicated tutor, I have developed a deep passion for helping students succeed.
