About Laura
I Graduated from a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology (in 2015), and a Research Master's degree in Integrated Molecular and Cellular Biology, specialty : Genetics (in 2017), from the University of Strasbourg
Thus, I offer my services for online tutoring in Maths, Physics-Chemistry and Biology (more specifically in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, cellular physiology and genetics). I offer tutoring for students from middle school to high school, and undergraduate College students in Biology / Biochemistry / Cellular physiology / Genetics (students in Psychology or Biology Degree).
I have several years of experience in tutoring, having started to provide support from my first year of Biology Bachelor's degree, in parallel with my studies.
I have been fortunate to be able to support many students over the past few years, in particular students in the first and second year of Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Biology, as well as college students, and high school students of all levels, and all sectors.

My courses are aimed at students from middle school to College (Bachelor's degree in Biology, Psychology...). Depending on the student's profile, I adapt my working method (some students need more supervision, others being more autonomous, etc.).
Given the current health context, the classes are preferably done online by video, via Skype, a software that I have been using for several months already to give my classes.
I rely exclusively on the lessons of my students, in particular their digital textbooks, in order to follow the program, and to meet the teacher's expectations (until high school Senior year).
It also happens that our classes require other resources if some informations are missing, in this case I can provide my university lessons/notes, to explain certain concepts to my higher education students (Bachelor's degree students).
In Mathematics and Physics, the emphasis is put on solving exercises, which is the largest part of a lesson (homework is given between each lesson).
In Biology, the emphasis is on learning and understanding the lesson, with also exercises (document analysis, restitution of knowledge).
Preparation of former exams with correction, explanation of tutorial exercises for College students.

My classes always last 2 hours, specifically for high school and College students.
However, for younger students, or students with focusing issues/dyslexia etc, classes may last only 90 minutes.
