About Rose
Hi! My name is Rose, I'm a second-year Physiotherapy student at Cardiff University. My passion for science and the Human body developed in secondary school where I loved discovering all the amazing things that our bodies do for us! Throughout sixth form, I learned how to transform this passion into learning more and more about the fascinating things in science. Revision used to be a difficult and somewhat fearful thing for me, so I spent my sixth form years developing my own methods to make it enjoyable and effective, I still use these techniques at University!

My main goal is to use my experience to help students enjoy and feel confident in their Biological knowledge. I believe that feeling confident in your understanding of a subject makes it so much easier to learn and enjoy. That being said, my sessions are completely centred around the student, so I will devote the majority of the session to areas of the subject that the individual struggles with. Planning and preparation are key, so the sessions will be planned by myself and the tutee, together, based on their concerns and the order in which those concerns should be addressed. I also appreciate that students are preparing for their examinations so exam technique practice will also be incorporated into content learning.
