About Pedro
I propose classes in order to facilitate student learning. I use the comparison of historical events with more everyday or more interesting events for the student, precisely to awaken the student's interest in the beautiful science of history. For me, the most important thing is that I am a guide for the student to walk by his own movements, instead of someone who wants to carry him or just leave him alone. The function of the teacher of a human science as history is, precisely, to form a human being intellectually so that he can act on his own in a rational way. In short: I want to guide my students to an interest in knowledge.

I am a graduate academic in history looking for professional improvement. History has been my passion since elementary school. I believe that there is no science more interesting than history: the object of a chemist and physicist and demonstrable several times, but the object of a historian is something that we will never be able to repeat, because it belongs to his time. Each historical event, like a human being, is unique. I seek to convey this passion for history to my students and assist them in understanding the world.
