My approach as a tutor is practical, student-centered, and focused on real communication. I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it in meaningful, real-life situations, not just memorizing rules. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s goals, pace, and learning style.
A typical lesson includes a short warm-up conversation, introduction or review of key vocabulary or structures, guided practice through speaking and listening activities, and personalized feedback. Lessons often end with practical exercises or tips that students can immediately apply outside class.
What sets me apart is my multilingual background and professional experience. As a trilingual speaker of English, Spanish, and Japanese, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can explain concepts clearly by comparing languages when helpful. I also bring a business and customer-service perspective, helping students sound natural, confident, and professional.
My lessons are ideal for beginners to intermediate learners, as well as professionals who want to improve conversation skills, workplace communication, interviews, or travel confidence. I work especially well with adults and motivated students who want practical results.
