About Alex
Hello! My name is Alex Sá. I am a saxophonist, arranger and music teacher, with more than 27 years of experience, dedicated to stages, recordings and saxophone teaching. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to work alongside great names in Brazilian music, such as Marcos Valle and Sandra de Sá, in addition to participating in projects with the band Medulla. I also performed at important festivals, such as Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza and The Town, experiences that enriched my artistic and professional career. My music also crossed borders. I have already performed in the United States and England, bringing Brazilian music to the international audience and expanding my experience as a musician and educator. Today, I share all this experience through personalised saxophone lessons for students of all levels. My goal is to teach in a practical, clear and efficient way, helping each student to develop technique, sound, musical reading, improvisation and confidence to play with quality. If you want to learn saxophone, evolve musically or prepare for performances, bands, churches or professional career, it will be a pleasure to be part of your journey and contribute to you achieving your goals.

The classes are fully personalised and developed for students of all levels, from those who have never had contact with the instrument to musicians who want to improve their technique and improvisation. You will learn in a practical and progressive way content such as mouth, breathing, posture, sonority, technique, musical reading, scales, harmony, musical perception and improvisation. The classes also address various styles, such as Jazz, MPB, Pop, Gospel, Samba and Instrumental Music. My methodology was built over more than 27 years of experience as a saxophonist and teacher, providing light, organised and efficient learning. Each student receives a personalised study plan, respecting their pace and goals, as well as guidance for studies between classes. Classes can be face-to-face or online, allowing students from anywhere in Brazil to learn with quality. My commitment is to make you evolve with safety, confidence and pleasure, developing not only technique, but also musicality and creativity.
