I am educated to post-graduate level (UK). I also have a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I teach face to face and online. My students say I am patient, very understanding and because I also speak French and German, I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language.

I like to use a variety of methods to help students. I don't believe that one approach suits everyone. I think it is important to encourage students to become more confident using a language and to help them with pronunciation, whilst also being mindful of grammar and vocabulary. I think that talking in another language is also important in terms of gaining confidence and mastering a language.
