About Amanda
Hi there!
My name is Amanda, and I am a Masters student at the University of Ottawa. My field of study is Piano Pedagogy, which is the science of learning piano and teaching piano. I have been teaching piano for 5 years now and am happy to continue learning alongside my students each and every lesson!

Lessons in my studio are centered around what daily practicing should look like at home - technique, ear training, theory, and pieces. It is important that a student is able to comprehend all of these subject areas, and practice them daily in order to succeed. Depending on what level of experience a student may have, lessons are always tailored to each individuals needs. The most important thing is to have fun while learning something new!

I really like Amanda. She is a great piano teacher. I really recommend her.
I have been a adult piano student of Amanda's for about two and half years. I look forward to my lesson every week. She is very knowledgeable , dedicated and a very patient teacher.
