About Martin
I am a Wake Forest Alumni with a physics degree who worked as a peer tutor for three academic years. My pupils ranged from pre-med to pre-law students to student athletes and everything in between. I adapted my instructional methods to optimally suit the needs of past customers and will be happy to accommodate each of unique learning approach of future students.

I have tutored at the collegiate level and am competent to teach at the high school level up to intermediate-level collegiate physics courses. My teaching method is usually in the context of a single problem. I will ask the student what knowledge and formulas they already possess to approach the problem, use the above information as my basis for explanation, go into each step of the solution in detail and integrate explanations of key concepts where applicable. I guide my students most of the way but I like to let them solve for the final answer on their own. If they don't get it then I am happy to walk them through each step of the problem again.

I will charge $13/hr to host students in my residence and $15/hr to tutor any physics material more advanced than collegiate sophomore-level course material.
