About Chay

I want to teach math to students because I know what it feels like to be lost in class and how it affected me. I felt like I wasn't good enough and always had doubt in myself. When I gained confidence in math, I started looking at myself from a more positive perspective. I wasn't afraid of upcoming tests and was able to build confidence in other subjects as well. I learned that if you try hard enough, there is nothing that can't happen. Through this experience, I want others that are having a hard time with math to feel that way too!

About the lesson

It's not easy to learn math, but that's okay! I had my own wars with math as well, so I know what that feels like.
The most important thing when approaching math is to really understand the process before diving into solving questions. I will try my best so you can understand the concepts so you can then explain that concept back to me -- being able to explain in your own words means you really know what you're talking about!
I can help up to pre-calculus.
I am excited to get to know you and have fun!
