About Nethum
Hi, I’m Nethum, a current Medical student at the University of Bristol.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative the right approach to mathematics can be. Achieving a 99.35 ATAR (equivalent to A*A*A*) and a 1550 SAT taught me that high performance is not about natural talent or memorising formulas; it comes down to structured problem-solving, intuitive understanding, and exam discipline.
I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students bridge the gap between feeling stuck and mastering a topic with confidence. Mathematics can often feel daunting or abstract when taught in large classrooms. My aim is to provide a patient, encouraging, and supportive online space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building real mastery.
Outside of my medical studies, I take pride in mentoring younger students, guiding them through stressful exam periods, and helping them develop effective study habits that extend far beyond their maths papers.

My Teaching Approach
