About Tenki
Hi! I’m a university student from Japan currently studying at the University of Melbourne as an exchange student. I am also enrolled at Hitotsubashi University in Japan, where I study Economics.
Before coming to Australia, I worked as a tutor at a Japanese tutoring school, mainly teaching high school students. I enjoyed helping students understand difficult concepts and working with them to achieve their academic goals.
As a native Japanese speaker, I can explain Math clearly in Japanese, which can be especially helpful for Japanese-speaking students studying in Australia.
I am friendly, patient and responsible, and I always try to create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions.
I look forward to helping students build confidence in Math and enjoy learning!

I offer one-on-one online Math lessons for Japanese-speaking primary and secondary school students in Melbourne.
Lessons are conducted via Zoom and can be tailored to each student’s level and needs. I can help with schoolwork, homework, test preparation, reviewing difficult topics, and building a stronger understanding of Math.
I am happy to explain concepts in Japanese, making it easier for students who may find learning Math in English challenging.
Lessons are relaxed and student-focused, with an emphasis on understanding the concepts rather than simply memorizing answers.
I am flexible with lesson times and can work around students’ school and extracurricular schedules.
