About Shikhar
Hello, I’m Shikhar.
I am an IIT Dhanbad and IIM Mumbai alumnus with an engineering and management background, currently working as a professional in the industry. Alongside my job, I teach Math online because I genuinely enjoy helping students overcome fear and confusion around the subject.
I believe Math should feel logical and approachable, not intimidating. My focus is on building strong fundamentals, improving problem-solving skills, and boosting students’ confidence, especially for exams.
I am patient, structured, and approachable as a teacher, and I make sure students feel comfortable asking questions. I work best with motivated learners who want clarity, consistency, and a supportive learning environment.

My teaching approach:-
I believe Maths becomes easy when concepts are understood clearly. My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, logical thinking, and step-by-step problem solving rather than rote memorization.
Teaching techniques & methods:-
I follow a concept-first approach: explaining the “why” behind formulas, breaking problems into simple steps, and gradually increasing difficulty. I use real-life examples wherever possible to make concepts intuitive.
