About Jhon Luis

With a degree in Psychology, I aim to assist students in mastering Math effectively. I think each student is unique. Certain individuals excel in specific domains. Some require more assistance than others. This is the reason I ensure my lessons are straightforward and simple to understand. I customize my instruction to meet the requirements of every student. I instruct on mathematical subjects such as numbers, addition, subtraction, and additional concepts. I also instruct on algebra, geometry, and logic. I primarily work with children, in elementary and middle school. I want students to not only find the answer but to comprehend how to tackle challenges. I desire for them to feel assured while tackling math tasks. I maintain a friendly and respectful atmosphere in my classroom. Students are urged to inquire and gain knowledge from their errors. I ensure that every lesson is thoroughly organized. I provide students with the assistance they require to improve their math skills gradually.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centered on helping students understand Mathematics in a clear, organized, and personalized manner. I adjust my teaching strategies based on each student's level, pace, and specific areas of difficulty. I use simple explanations, step-by-step demonstrations, examples, guided practice, and problem-solving exercises to make lessons easier to understand and apply. A typical session begins with a brief review of the student's previous lessons or an assessment of the topic they find challenging. I then explain the concept, demonstrate how to approach problems, and provide exercises that allow the student to apply what they have learned. As the session progresses, I encourage students to work more independently while providing guidance and constructive feedback when needed. What distinguishes me as a tutor is my background in Psychology, which has given me an appreciation for individual differences in learning and the importance of adapting instruction to the student's needs. I aim not only to help students arrive at the correct answers but also to develop their reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and confidence. My lessons are primarily designed for Elementary to Junior High School students who need support in Basic Mathematics, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Logic, and other fundamental mathematical skills.
