About Leah
I am an Undergraduate student at the University of Plymouth, and I tutor because I was always so grateful to my teachers, especially my Psychology teacher, for the impact they had on my life, and the knowledge they helped me pursue.
From the second I started helping to teach others even just as a volunteer Sixth Form mentor, I have loved it. Tutoring while studying is allowing me to continue my passion alongside my studies instead of having to wait to finish my degree to get back to teaching.

As someone who very recently sat these exams, I know exactly the best places to focus on with revision and learning. I will first have a free 30 minute open discussion with my student to figure out what we're struggling with and then move on to various learning techniques, whether that's helping go over homework, writing out essay plans and going over structure, recall learning, or even sometimes just having someone explain the confusing content to you who isn't your teacher rushing to finish the curriculum in time for exams makes the world of difference!
I spent my time in the second year of Sixth Form mentoring students in the year below studying the same subjects as me with good results; they all noticed a marked difference in their understanding and grades.
I am able to tutor AQA Psychology A-Level and GCSE and AQA Sociology A-Level students.
