I possess strong problem-solving & project planning skills, with a practical and flexible approach to work and life coupled with a sound knowledge of advanced Mathematics and postgraduate research. With wide-ranging educational experience gained over many years of teaching; My strengths are thoroughness, attention to detail and thinking ‘out of the box’ - leading to an excellent track record of completion and results-oriented outcomes. I am open-minded and adaptable in my teaching and get a real sense of satisfaction from ‘doing a job well through to completion’.

I specialise in all aspects of A-Level Mathematics across many different exam boards and can be of great assistance to you. I fully understand any A-Level Mathematics problem presented and can assist in many different ways, giving the student various options and methods to approach the subject. I am familiar with examination boards, not only in the UK, but internationally as well. I first started tutoring in 2003 as a way to gain more experience in teaching before I entered the teaching profession and I have always enjoyed online teaching, especially A-Level Mathematics and during COVID, I taught over 100 students online, so I am confident in my subject and the use of technology to complement my teaching. I converse with the student and find out their previous grades, where they are at the moment in the subject and where they want to get to and create a realistic, obtainable plan.
