About Allanah

I have a degree in English from University College Dublin, graduating with a 2:1.

I have been teaching Higher Level Leaving Cert English for the past 10 years and have recently become an examiner with the State Examinations Commission correcting Higher Level Leaving Certificate English.

About the lesson

Each lesson will be 1 hour via Zoom. All students will get access to a Google Classroom where all notes and materials used in class will be uploaded to. Students will submit work via the same classroom for correction.
Lessons are for 5th or 6th year Leaving Certificate students only, who are in need of some extra tuition.

*Classes are not aimed at students attempting to learn the English language or who are living outside of Ireland*

Allanah gave me English lessons to help me get through leaving cert higher level English. To be honest I can't recommend her enough. Without her I wouldn't have gotten the mark I did. She was so kind, helpful and had a great sense of humour. I was never stressed about our lessons as she felt more like a friend. If you're considering taking English lessons with Allanah, don't think twice. It will be a fantastic decision. Her dedication, patience, and teaching style made learning both enjoyable and effective. Thank you so much Allanah.
