Online Higher English tutor with an A1 in Higher English. Topped my class and went on to study some English modules alongside Psychology at the University of St Andrews (exp. grad 2028).

About Demelza
I am a third-year student at the University of St Andrews studying Psychology BSc. In my first and second year, I took several English modules alongside Psychology as reading and analysing literature is something I enjoy.
I topped my class in Higher English and since then I have done quite a bit of tutoring in-person and online. When I first started Higher English I really struggled with RUAE - in my first past paper I got 8/30 - which is why I'm really passionate about tutoring, as I find it really rewarding to help individuals develop their skills and confidence.

I offer hour-long lessons personalised to the individual. I will ask to see past papers which the student has previously completed and will mark these papers to see where most marks are being lost/gained and use this to create a personalised action plan.
Although these sessions are mostly aimed at Higher English, National 5 students are also welcome to contact me for advice and support.
