About Salman
I’m a Year 11 student at Camp Hill School for Boys, where I’ve just completed my GCSEs. I’m predicted Grade 9s in Maths and all three Triple Science subjects, and I'm also predicted a Grade A in the OCR FSMQ Additional Maths qualification. My passion for maths and science, combined with my strong academic background, has inspired me to help other students succeed in these subjects. Moving forward, I plan to take Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics for A-Levels. I enjoy teaching because I know how challenging GCSEs can be, and I want to make a difference by sharing the methods and strategies that worked for me. I find it rewarding to explain difficult concepts in a way that makes them easier to understand, and I genuinely enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and ability. Having recently been through the same exams, I can relate to the pressure students feel and offer relevant, up-to-date support that’s both effective and encouraging.

My tutoring approach is supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building a solid understanding of core concepts, including past-paper questions, ensuring students feel confident every step of the way. I use a mix of teaching techniques, including active recall, step-by-step worked examples, and targeted practice questions, to help students retain knowledge and apply it effectively in exams. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and delivered online, making them flexible and convenient for students. Each session is planned but also adaptable, allowing time to revisit tricky areas or exam-style questions. I also provide resources and revision strategies to support learning outside of lessons. Having just completed my GCSEs with predicted Grade 9s in Maths and all three sciences, I have up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and exam requirements. I also have previous experience tutoring GCSE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear, student-friendly teaching style. These lessons are perfect for GCSE students in Years 9 to 11 – whether you're struggling with certain topics, want to improve your exam technique, or are aiming for the highest grades. I’m here to help you achieve your goals with patient, relatable, and effective tutoring.
