►► PHASED & MODULAR TUTORING APPROACH ◄◄
1) The underlying factor for my success lies in my ability to change my teaching style according to each student's requirements
2) I provide practical and lively examples to explain concepts in Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry
3) I guide my students towards obtaining correct answers with a series of well-placed questions rather than providing them with information to 'rote learn'
4) I am very patient and endeavour to remove the abstraction in mathematical concepts through simplification of seemingly complex procedures
5) I am a strong believer in building a good working relationship with my students
6) I tend to focus on harder exam questions early on so that students are not overwhelmed with them nearer to exam time
7) I provide students with visual representations in science which has worked wonders in establishing their concepts
8) I ask students to teach back what I taught them a few weeks ago which helps in improving their communication skills besides serving as a key revision tool
9) I provide students with efficient methods of doing questions to save time during time-pressured exams
10) Discussing the wider applications of the material to help with memory retention and exams
11) Exam specific advice, such as commonly asked questions, or definitions that might come up alongside exam practice - I have a bank of past exam papers, split by topic, for the subjects I teach to supplement the content
■ Enhanced DBS certified
■ I am a flexible tutor who can hold classes any day of the week and weekends. I am offering discount rates for small group tutoring. Thank you for reading and please message me for more information.
