About Chloe

I am a practising artist with a Master’s degree in Art & Space and several years of experience in the arts. My work explores creative processes and combines practical techniques with art theory. I am passionate about teaching because I love sharing my knowledge and helping students develop their own artistic voices. I enjoy creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can experiment, build confidence, and gain new skills. My goal is to encourage creativity and guide students on their artistic journey.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, blending practical exercises with art theory to build both confidence and skill. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging environment, where students can explore specific techniques, develop projects, and enhance critical thinking. Lessons are hands-on, offering opportunities for creative experimentation, self-expression, and constructive feedback. My approach is adaptable, whether students are looking to build foundational skills or advance their practice. I enjoy helping students find their artistic voice through personalised guidance, encouraging them to take creative risks, explore new ideas, and think independently. A typical lesson might involve starting with a warm-up exercise, followed by focused work on a particular skill or project, and ending with a discussion or critique session. I incorporate art history and theory where relevant, linking practical work to broader artistic contexts. I also introduce students to a range of materials and techniques, supporting their exploration of new methods and mediums, including traditional and contemporary practices. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and productive, offering practical advice, thoughtful feedback, and inspiration. I believe that art is not only about technical ability but also about expressing ideas, connecting with the world, and developing a personal creative vision. I look forward to supporting my students’ creative journeys, helping them achieve their artistic ambitions, and building confidence in their skills, ideas, and overall creative potential.
