About Charlotte
I am a confident person, I enjoy helping students.
I have helped to teach English students from the age of 8 to 18 with all their school subjects! Being in a position to help students improve their education and help them grow and improving their confidence is a big responsibility but a big privilege!!!
English being my native language, I also read, write, listen and speak Afrikaans.
I have got experience teaching large groups of students, I look forward to teaching English and interacting with you online!!!

I find teaching method depends on students needs. Whether student/s wants to learn another language as a hobby or to improve their career it is important to use correct teaching methodology regarding student/s resources. Teaching methodologies to be considered:
Audio lingual method:
Based on students resources, if they are able to use electronic devices such as a laptop, the internet or a radio with frequency/signal in their region to listen to English radio station (resources are mainly to be used during online lesson structure). Activities can range from having a interview with student/s or to asking student/s to name items around them to familiarize students to speak, read, write and listen to English.
Direct method:
Based on the idea that students learn best when English is used actively in lesson.
New points of language being learned are introduced orally with vocabulary taught through association of ideas and demonstration.
Communicative approach:
Emphasizes interaction in English to reflect what will happen in real life situations with focus on agreeing or inviting suggestions.
Natural method:
Learning is based on students needs.
All lesson structures focus on building student/s self-confidence and reducing their stress to help improve students career on hobby.
