About Eric
Greetings to all potential students. My name is Eric and I've been tutoring ESL students for a few years now, with great success. My goal is to tailor every student's experience to meet their specific needs. No matter what the situation, be it business or travel, or a desire to expand your social circle, my custom approach to learning conversational English will take you to the next level. Lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs. A typical first lesson involves: Introductions *Assessing the student's strengths and weaknesses. *Determining what course materials and methods yield the best results for that student. *Setting goals and/or establishing a lesson plan. *Conversational practice and critique. *Review and suggested homework assignments. SUBSEQUENT LESSONS involve: *Small talk intro. *Review *Course material and/or free talk *Progress assessment. I like to describe my lessons as casual encounters with technical results: Two guys discussing business over a beer. A dinner date with a friend. This is Conversational English for Business and Self-improvement. If you are a High Beginner, any range of Intermediate, or Advanced and just want to sharpen your skills, then I'm your tutor.

I have known Eric for over 20 years. I first met him when he was employed as a Peer Counselor. He had a great rapport with his clients and was very committed to them. Other experiences have included teaching horticulture to developmentally delayed adults and basic carpentry skills to beginners.
