About Rachel
I am a graduate of the University of North Texas - B.A. Social Studies and I have a Level 5 TEFL Certification to teach English as a second language, and I have been tutoring and teaching since 2020. I've taught multiple students to read in a variety of settings including homecare, in-person and online tutoring, and in the classroom. I love helping my students feel confident in their ability! Outside of the classroom, I love to garden, paint, and cook. What are your favorite hobbies?

Textbooks often teach an unnatural way of speaking. I want to help you learn English that you'll actually use in real life!
My focus is on the student, not the subject. I want to make sure they feel confident in their abilities and that they understand WHY they are learning; not just what they are learning. I take each term that students are learning and break them down into bite-sized chunks that can be understood and used.
