About Reza

I am a mathematics educator, researcher, and academic content developer with over 15 years of teaching experience at the university, college, secondary, and adult education levels, both online and in person. I hold a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics from the Université de Sherbrooke, where my research focused on combinatorial dynamical systems and Conley index theory. I also hold an M.Sc. in Functional Analysis from the University of Manitoba, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics from Isfahan University of Technology with a focus on algebra.

I have taught a wide range of mathematics subjects, including analysis, algebra, graph theory, probability, logic, calculus, linear algebra, and applied mathematics. My teaching experience includes positions at the Université de Sherbrooke, Université de Saint-Boniface, Bishop’s University, the University of Manitoba, and several secondary and adult education institutions in Quebec and Manitoba.

Since 2015, I have worked extensively in online education and academic content development. I have collaborated with more than 20 international platforms, including TutorOcean, StudyGate, Varsity Tutors, Areteem Institute, Outschool, Chegg/InstaEDU, Micro1.ai, Mercor.io, and Outlier.ai, combining teaching with the creation and evaluation of structured mathematical content and AI training datasets.

I teach in English and French and have experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and levels.

About the lesson

During lessons, I share my screen and explain solutions step by step. I focus on clarity of reasoning and adapting the approach to the student’s background and level. When appropriate, I present different methods for solving the same problem.

After the lesson, I can provide written notes for review. My lessons are structured and focused on understanding the material rather than memorization.
