About Nick
I have taught A Level Government and Politics, History, Philosophy and Religious Studies.
I have taught Global Politics and Theory of Knowledge as part of the International Baccalaureate.
I am currently working at the University of Bristol. I am an examiner for IB Global Politics, Sciences Po School of International Affairs and A Level OCR History.
I have excellent subject knowledge in part due to holding a BA History Degree and an MA in Politics from Hull University. I earned my PGCE in post 16 provision at Huddersfield University. My Master’s dissertation focused on Kantian democratic peace theory in Europe. My undergraduate dissertation explored the limits of social change in the 1960s in Britain. I am a lifelong learner and have welcomed opportunities to take up CPD in my subject areas thus, I have undertaken one year of doctoral studies in History at the University of Barcelona in 2022.
