About Zahra

Hello. I am an 18 year old looking to teach maths to those younger than me who are either struggling with maths, do not see the point of maths, or are simply trying to become better at it. In any case scenario, I am here, willingly wanting to help you love and excel in maths, because I was once just like you not long ago, in your shoes, but I attained an 8 in my maths GCSE. I can help you with your homework, classwork or any question/work in general and will make sure you understand each step before I move on. However, I will also require you to cooperate with me and work hard if you want to achieve good GCSE grades. Trust me, I've been through it all. :).

About the lesson

Hello there. I hope you are well. During this unstable time period of COVID-19, the empty streets and hollow, gloomy classrooms, out of those who have been and will be severely affected, I feel the education of children has a significant portion of the pie. They will have huge gaps from last academic year to the new one in autumn 2020. This includes the long duration of seclusion from a teacher who drives the motivation, courage and self-confidence of a student. And I am here to fill all of those gaps to make sure you or your child is not left behind in their academic life and excel in the subject of Mathematics, by which many children are intimidated, bewildered or discouraged, just because they haven't had enough practice or have not been taught the beauty of maths. I offer, to not only teach you or your child maths, but make you understand the reason of the existence of an equation, or a formula, or anything we study. I will make sure my teaching makes you love maths and appreciate its very existence. I urge you not to ignore your or your child's academic needs in mathematics, as this is the subject of constant repetition and practice. Just to let you know, I am a huge fan of baking, so you or your child will most definitely get treats from time to time.
Here's the description of my service to you:
I will be teaching KS1, KS2 and KS3 girls and boys up to year 5 only. Initially, I will highlight your weaknesses and tackle them first, then move on to higher level and take you ahead of your class. I will also be giving homework from time to time and will expect my students to finish it before the due date. And last but not least, I will most definitely give students tests to check their understanding and see if they have improved.
