Hello! I'm Pragati, an English literature enthusiast with a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for teaching. I’ve qualified GATE in English (HSS), graduated from Miranda House, University of Delhi, and am currently pursuing my Master's in English at Jawaharlal Nehru University — all of which reflect my commitment to the subject and to academic excellence. About the lesson

As a teacher, I believe learning English should be both intellectually enriching and personally meaningful. My approach blends critical thinking with creativity — I use storytelling, debates, visual aids, and close reading techniques to make concepts come alive. Whether it’s grammar, literature, or academic writing, I ensure every topic is taught with clarity, context, and care. A typical class begins with a quick recap, followed by an interactive session on the day’s topic, and ends with short exercises or discussions to reinforce understanding. I often incorporate real-world texts — poems, essays, news pieces, or even memes — to help students relate classroom learning to everyday language use. What sets me apart is my academic grounding and student-focused style. I’ve qualified GATE in English, graduated from Miranda House, and am currently pursuing my Master’s from JNU — all of which have shaped my deep, research-oriented yet approachable teaching philosophy. I’m patient, empathetic, and tailor lessons to each learner’s goals and pace. These classes are suitable for school children (grades 6–12), college students preparing for exams or refining their writing, and adults looking to build language confidence or dive into literature.
