About Sultana

Got my degree at the University of Virginia majoring in biology on the pre-med track.
The main subjects I covered before were English and algebra from elementary to the high school level. Biology and anatomy high school and collage level. I also prepped students on how to organize and study.
I have worked in professional settings with health workers and professors outside of education. I have supported students from elementary to high school studies.
With more than four years of experience tutoring K-12 students in STEM plus english subjects, I am passionate about helping others learn and succeed academically. I specialize in math subjects and is well-versed in the AP/IB curriculum. I look forward to bringing the best in students, helping them grow, and instilling a life-long passion for learning.

About the lesson

I want to make a difference in the formative years of a child`s development. I hope tutoring will inspire children to become confident individuals in their learning and encourage them to have a hunger to learn more. It is essential that as the practitioner, we inspire pupils beyond what they believe they can achieve and help them to reach their goals.

I strongly believe building positive relationships with individual pupils matter; children need to feel able to make mistakes without feeling judged in order for them to progress in their learning.

I am willing to respond to the needs of individual learners as I want to provide inclusive education for all pupils whilst appreciating their bespoke needs.

I would love to help students build their confidence in developing a skill and working to pass their exams. I've been tutoring biology, algebra, basic math, english k-12, and essay writing over the year now, and I've had experience teaching it in both high school and college. I know how to explain difficult concepts in a way that students can understand.
