I am Josh, an NYU student with a background in computer science and prior experience in programming and tutoring. I approach teaching with professionalism, patience, and clear structure, focusing on helping students develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence in their technical abilities. I value clarity, consistency, and adapting lessons to each student’s learning style and goals.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching computer science is structured, practical, and focused on building strong fundamentals. I begin by explaining core concepts clearly before moving into guided problem solving and hands-on practice. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, introducing a new topic with real-world examples, and working through coding exercises together to reinforce understanding.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex ideas into simple, logical steps while adapting lessons to each student’s pace and goals. As an NYU student with programming experience, I emphasize clarity, problem-solving skills, and confidence in independent thinking.
